gastrogangster: I love learning about the WHEN, WHERE, and WHY of cooking almost as much as the HOW. Ive been reading this book Catching Fire, its kind of an anthropological history of cooking, it talks about one of the oldest sites they have found that shows signs of people cooking, the site is 800,000 years old! We are part of a 800,000 year old tradition. So cool!
